I remember sitting in the emergency room. My stomach knotting with anticipation. I had a pretty good idea what I was bound to learn that night, but there was always a chance it could go another way. Looking back, I don’t think I was nervous about being told I was pregnant. I think I was scared they were going to tell me I was wrong.

There is this little goody two-shoes tiger, you all probably know him from his debut on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was the tiger that lived in the clock, the little shy one? Remember? Meow …. I run at the sight of my own shadow …. Meow?

Most of the time I put on a strong front, I laugh, I joke and I basically act like I don’t much care what you think. Most of the time that’s true … but it wasn’t always that way.
Every parent of a school age child can agree on one thing unanimously, children get sick far more often once they go to school. Sure, there may be some initial excitement when you think of all the free time your going to have in the morning after they climb on the bus.
